Stone kitchen with cosy tiled stove
The center of a farmhouse has always been the parlor with its cozy tiled stove. In this very old, completely renovated farmhouse in the Bavarian mountains, this room was given a modern interpretation and opened up to the entrance area.
The classic green of the tiled stove has been transformed into a fresh turquoise, and the natural stone kitchen with matt lacquered fronts has been designed to match.
In spite of all the modernity, the down-to-earth feel was not to be lost, so natural, honest materials were used in the form of natural plaster walls combined with wooden floors and exposed screed.
Materials
Only natural stone is used for the kitchen block, the countertop and the side of the countertop. The opposite kitchen fronts are finished in a matte gray, easy to clean lacquer.
Kitchen architecture
The kitchen, with its central cooking island and a opposite kitchen wall, stands on exposed screed and is thus clearly separated from the living area with solid wood flooring. To achieve a perfect result, the planning must be optimally coordinated between the trades.
Kitchen technology
A BORA Professional 3.0 with Tepan grill and surface induction is installed in the kitchen island. A BORA X BO adorns the back wall and there are three different Liebherr appliances for cooling food and drinks.
Dishes are washed with a Hansgrohe mixer faucet.
The skillful lighting design by our partner Licht im werkhaus makes the existing low rooms appear much higher and gives the 100 m² living area an open and friendly feel.
